A top-rated nonprofit law firm serving the South Florida low-income community is seeking a highly motivated substantive paralegal for its Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC). The LITC provides education to low-income and ESL individuals regarding their tax rights and responsibilities and represents clients in disputes with the IRS.
The ideal candidate will have experience interviewing clients, familiarity with poverty law issues, and an interest in gaining experience in tax matters such as IRS collections and examinations. The starting salary is $39K, with compensation commensurate with experience.
